This is an any yarn weight, any gauge pattern. Start with a zipper, chain stitch around, then pick up stitches to knit the bag.

I made mine with worsted weight cotton yarn and an 8.5-inch zipper. The bag is 5 inches deep. You can make yours any size depending on the length of your zipper and how big you want the bag to be.

I used a partial skein I had lying around, but you can use odd balls to make stripes, make a magic ball, or use a solid color as you prefer.
