This pattern contains the instructions for creating a cozy winter hat from the top down. I don’t like making large chains or cast ons so this hat is perfect because it only starts with 6 stitches.

You must know to do Tunisian crochet in the round but alternatively you can work the hat flat and sew the seams together if you prefer.

For this pattern you will need:
•One skein of your favorite yarn for a hat. If you want a two toned hat like on the photo you will need some of a contrasting color. I just used something I had leftover from another project.
•doubled ended tunisian crochet hook 6mm
•tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

This patterns uses the Tunisian Simple Stitch, Tunisian Knit Stitch, and the Tunisian Reverse Stitch.
