Top Secret is a versatile hip-length sleeveless top that can be dressed up or down. It’s fun, super-fast and easy to knit: absolutely no seaming required and all edges are self-finished thanks to the Slipped Stitch Edge. This top is worked seamlessly bottom-up and in the round to the underarms, with simple darts for waist and bust shaping; then it’s divided for front and back and worked back and forth up until the neckband. This simple yet interesting top features a chevron edge on the bottom, a pretty lace detail as a focal point on the neckline and the use of short-row shaping for the neck. The last touch is a rolled neckband worked in the round to connect the front and the back…and you’re done!

US size 2½ (3 mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needles or size needed to obtain correct gauge
US size 2½ (3 mm) 16” (40 cm) or DPNs (set of 4)
Five Stitch Markers
Waste yarn or Stitch Holder
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
29 sts and 36 rounds = 10 cm/4” in Chevron Edge Pattern, after blocking.
25 sts and 38 rounds = 10 cm/4” in Stockinette Stitch, after blocking.
