This pattern comprises of a halter neck top, which fastens with a button at the back of the neck, with a slip stitch band at the bottom, an easy rib pull up skirt, with a check band round the lower half, and a 5 buttoned cardigan, with a slip stitch check patterned body

MATERIALS
Approx 20grms of DK knitting yarn (worsted weight US) in white, 60grms of blue,
1 pair (8 UK) (6 US) (4mm) knitting needles , or size to achieve a tension of 5st and 7 rows to the inch, 5 buttons for cardigan, 1 button for halter top

ABBREVIATIONS
P purl, K Knit, tog together, sts stitches, inc increase, by knitting into the front and back of same stitch, dec, decrease, by knitting 2sts together rep. Repeat, gtr st (every row knit, st st stocking stitch, (stockinette stitch US) (1 row knit, 1 row purl) cast off (bind off US) beg beginning, sl 1, by transferring the next stitch from the left hand needle to the right hand needle without knitting it, yfwd yarn forward
