Topography sweater
The Topography sweater is knitted with two color brioche stitches, making a reversible fabric with each side having one color more prominent - two sweaters in one! The three-dimensional texture of brioche creates a mesmerizing optical illusion of light and dark. Knitted seamlessly from the top down, the brioche increases accentuate the raglan sleeves as well as create a nice pattern on the side seam of the body. The sleeves are pulled together with a snug cuff, creating puff sleeves. With double sided knitting, the cuffs also have two colors, and makes a warm, double layer around your wrist.
Sizes available: XXS, XS (S, M, L (XL, XXL, XXXL))

Use a yarn in DK weight with a tight twist, we suggest merino wool or similar. Play around with you color choices! A dark yarn together with a light one will enhance the effect of the light and dark. You may also try one yarn in a solid color and one variegated. Or two shades of the same color could be another way to go. Make a swatch to try your gauge and see what color combo you like.
You will need 5, 6 (6, 7, 7 (8, 8, 9)) skeins (50 g) of each color.
Use 3,5 mm (US 4) needles, or corresponding size to obtain the desired gauge.
