Topsy is a very sweet cat and is knitted with Wooltops DK yarn with 245 meters.
Topsy is knitted bottom up and almost a seamless knit.
We have used needles 3mm and Topsy comes in one size.
The sizes changes by using other yarn and needles.

We used for Topsy Wooltops DK yarn with approximately
245 mtr/100 gram.
One skein is enough for the project

After knitting Topsy is felted in the machine at 30 or 40 degrees with a wool or delicate program.

It is absolutely not necessary to felt if you do not want to.
If you want a more dense fabric just go down a half or a whole needle size then.

You could knit Topsy in any yarn you like but …. be aware of sizing of felting.
Every yarn is different and one will felt more than the other.

You can choose to knit with a circular needle or with DPN’s.
The choice is yours.

About the eyes.
You can use safety eyes 7 till 8 mm or you can just embroider them.
We have used wool to stuff the sheep.
