I woke up with this pattern in my head and decided I had to knit it. It’s knit from the top down, beginning with a few stitches and increasing. It features simple cables, which can easily be knitted without using a cable needle if desired, and the single ply yarn really makes the pattern stand out.

Depending on your gauge, this can easily be knit into a regular beanie or a slouchy beanie, whichever you prefer. Pictures are of the slouchy beanie.
