The slipover is worked bottom up and in one piece and in the round until the armholes. The two-tone check pattern is separated at the side lines by a different small pattern. From the armholes up, front and back side are worked flat and separately. The front side is a quarter repeat longer at the outer edge of the shoulder and a half repeat longer at the neckline so that patterns of front and back side complement each other logically. Thus, the shoulder line is slightly shifted to the upper back. A chart for the pattern is included,

Der Pullunder wird von unten nach oben und bis zu den Armausschnitten in einem Stück in Runden gestrickt. Das zweifarbige Karomuster wird dabei an den Seitenlinien des Rumpfs durch ein kleineres Muster unterteilt.
Anschließend werden Rücken- und Vorderteil getrennt und in HR und RR weitergearbeitet; das VT ist dabei an der Außenkante der Schulter um einen Viertelrapport, an der Halsausschnittseite der Schulter um einen halben Rapport länger (damit sich die Muster von VT und RT logisch ergänzen); die Schulterlinie liegt dadurch geringfügig versetzt im oberen Rückenbereich.
Für das Muster gibt es eine Strickschrift.
