I made the shawl to wear with my tradiotional costume, the “bunad”, but you can of course wear it with other types of clothing as well.

The shawl is worked top down, in garter stitch, starting with a garter tab in the back neck. It has lace patterns in large panels in the main colour, and between these, wavy stripes in one or more constrasting colours.

The traditional way to wear a shawl like this is across your bust and then tied in the back.
