Torrey Pines
In the coldest of seasons, a sturdy pair of mittens in a dense, impenetrable fabric will keep hands much warmer than gloves. Add a heavily cabled panel along the top to maximize their wind resistance and you won’t want to leave home without them. This pair are knit with squishy worsted weight wool in six sizes (XXS/XS/S/M/L/XL) for children, teens, and adults. For best insulation use a lofty, strong wool that traps air and forms a cohesive fabric surface.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and elasticity.
Sample shown is knit in Bare Naked Wools Kent Worsted, color Driftwood, currently available in the knitspot yarn shop
Modeled here with Carlsbad Cowl and the Hills in Jamul Hat
pattern is currently exclusive to members of the BNK 2014 knitting club and will be offered as a single release after one year (february 17, 2015)
