Torrid is kind of a cowl but also kind of not. Knit in a one-by-one twisted rib, it’s more as if a dickie and a statement necklace had a whirlwind affair. Designed to sit very close to the neck and chest, this garment can be worn over or under shirts and jackets to add neck warmth without bulk. Torrid is finished with a frilly cast on along the neck that mirrors the picot bind off used at the bottom of the piece. Knit with only 130 yards or 120 m of Madelinetosh Pashmina yarn, Torrid has warmth and softness around the neck with the drape that a touch of silk adds.
