Inspired by Loch Torridon, Scotland, this shawl is knit in the round from the center out. Begin in the center of the rippling loch. From there, you will reach the trees on the border. And finally, the rolling hills edge is attached as you go for minimal grafting—just where the edging cast on meets the end.

Gauge is not critical, but any change in yarn, needle, or gauge will change the final size of your shawl.

Any wool or wool blend yarn is suitable for this project.
