These smart socks have an all-over pattern that provides a sophisticated texture to the fabric. Knitted from the top-down, the socks have columns of lace that begin at the cuff, and a standard heel flap. Designer Sarah Hatton has used the handpainted Rowan Fine Art sock yarn, which knits up into a variegated fabric. The wool-nylon blend also includes mohair and silk for a luxurious feel. It is available in 18 shades, including self-striping and subtly blended colourways.
