Tortoise security blanket

This lovely tortoise security blanket (lovey) is crocheted in 2 colour hexagons and joined with dc on the reverse. It is made in Stylecraft Special Aran using approx. 400m green and 200m brown. The feet and tail are attached to the blanket using dc on the reverse. The head is sewn in place.
The tension is 13 tr to 8 rows to create 10x10cm square (UK terminology).
You will need hooks darning needle, felt eyes, sewing needles and thread, stitch markers, toy filling, and scissors to make the blanket.
The pattern includes the written instructions to make the blanket as well as some diagrams to show how to construct it.
