This is my interpretation of a Miniature Dog - Toto.

Like quite a few of my patterns I design because I can’t find something that suits what I need. This little dog I made to go with my Miniature Basket pattern for my Dorothy Doll from The Wizard Of Oz. But it can be used in any way you wish really, who doesn’t love a little dog???? If you place the legs correctly he can either sit or stand. It just requires your imagination.

Toto will be approx 6cm long, 4½cm wide & 6cm tall.

The pattern is designed to be crocheted in the round.

This pattern is written in US terms and is 3 pages.

Skill level is Beginner. And being that it is small it can be a little fiddly.

Materials:
Crochet Cotton – Brown (I used a variegated Brown) & Black (for eyes)
1.5mm Hook
Hobby Fill – stuffing
Tapestry Needle, Stitch Marker & Scissors

Stitch key:
magic ring
sl st - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
inc - increase = 2 sc in the same stitch
dec - decrease = 2 sc together
FO – fasten off
