Sometimes you have a specialty yarn that you love, but you don’t want to make a whole project with it. This pattern was designed to use some shimmering yarn and some fuzzy yarn together to make a really beautiful shawl that has just a touch of glam. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to add a wide collar of fuzzy yarn to the top of the shawl… something I’ve been wanting to do for a while!

I used two skeins of Baby Bee Sweet Delight Pomp and two skeins of Baby Bee Baby Lou Lou. In my main example, I used the same color of both so that the fuzzy rows would sort of blur in and out of the other rows. In my second example I used contrasting colors. My shawl is 70” across the top and 35” tall from the center of the collar to the point.
