A version of this pattern is included with the box of Touch’s limited edition yarn Wild Flowers of Central Otago. This is described as a brushed fine kid mohair merino yarn (Mohair 46%, Nylon 40%, Merino 14%). The pattern is also available on the Touch website, where the recommended yarn is their Possum, which is a blend of Merino and Nylon with Possum. One skein (220 m) of Touch Yarns Wild Flowers of Central Otago is required for either the hat or the mittens.
