A simple, unisex adult hat with an easy colorwork pattern. It’s warm without being too bulky.

The design for this hat is based on a skit by comedian Eddie Izzard titled “Cake or Death” and a discussion with my brother. Sometimes life throws you tough choices. Would you prefer cake or death?

This set knits ups quickly and is designed to work with 2 colors of Yough DK.

The hat is worked in one piece and the pattern is charted.

The set is sized to fit the average adult head with a 20-22 inch head circumference (50-56 cm). It is designed to be worn like a skull cap but depth can easily be added.
