Touka
Touka starts with few stitches and is worked bottom up.
You add one stitch every other row on one side and the shape becomes a triangle.
Stockinette sections and a nice rib-lace-pattern are framed by a garter stitch border.
An easy but not boring knit.
Materials
The shawl requires approx. 225 gr (984 yds / 900 m) of Fingering yarn
The sample shown used 4.5 skeins of Albertine by De Rerum Natura (Fingering, 100% Merino, 219 yds / 200 m per 50 gr), colorway: Ocre
One US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge), 32” / 60 cm or longer, stitch markers, tapestry needle
