Let’s knit a Textured sweater together for free !

This sweater has a distinctive textured band running along the body and the sleeves. The rest is knitted in stockinette stitch with a twist.

It is worked from bottom to top in the round until you reach the underarm then flat for the rest of the torso. The sleeves and collar are knitted in the round from the picked-up body stitches. The collar is made with an integrated hem and is finished with an elastic to maintain the opening’s elasticity.

The finished sweater is from 50cm/19.7in to 73cm/28.7in wide by 66cm/26in to 78cm/37in high for the body.
The sweater was originally made for men but can be easily unisex.

For the pictured model, I used Merino Extra Fine to give it elasticity and softness.

To knit it, you’ll need a set of circular and double-pointed needles 3.5mm/US4 and 5mm/US8 and around 10 balls of merino.

As the needles are quite big, this project is a pretty fast one.

The instructions exist both in french and english.
