Extra chic leg warmers, equally capable of a day in the city or a hike through fall foliage. While the pattern is written in one size, these are easily adjustable for custom sizing by casting on a few extra stitches for the waffle stitch portion, or knitting fewer rows for a shorter length.

Details

Knit entirely in one piece, these legwarmers conceal ribbing around the calf beneath the cuff to help create the perfect fit, while ribbing around the bottom edge helps eliminate baggy ankles for a cleaner line. For added comfort, instructions are included on how to easily add some 1/4 inch elastic for those who appreciate a little extra stretch.

Decorative buttons eliminate the need for button holes without interfering with ease of use.

Finished Measurements

The pattern is written for a 14” calf and a 15” shaft. This is easily customizable by adding in a few extra stitches (3 per inch required) in the center of the waffle stitch pattern. The final product has a high-elastic quality, making it perfect for easy customization.
