Tove
Tove is an easygoing sweater for workdays and weekends. It’s worked seamlessly from the top down starting from the collar and using a contiguous set-in sleeve method developed by Susie M. Myers. There are two sleeve length options, and the body is finished with a split garter hem with the back being slightly longer than the front. All edges are finished with applied i-cords worked as you go except for the collar edge which is worked last.
Inspiration for this sweater came from photos showing Tove Jansson, the beloved creator of the Moomin books, on her summer island happily wearing a sailor collar shirt.
SIZES
XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL. The sweater is intended to be worn with 2-4 in 5-10 cm of positive ease at the bust. The sample sweater is shown in size S with shorter sleeves (bracelet length).
