Tove Skirt is a straight skirt in mosaic knitting. It can be made as a short skirt for above the knee or a longer model for mid-calf. The design was created as part of the Isager Archives collection and is a reinterpretation of a model from the 60s and 70s archives - from where the inspiration for the mosaic knitting pattern also comes.

The skirt is worked top-down. First, a stockinette stitch edge is knitted which is folded over and knitted together. Along the way, a waist elastic is inserted into the casing.

Short rows are worked in mosaic knitting to add length at the back. After the short rows mosaic knitting is worked in the round while making increases at the sides.

When the skirt has the final hip width, the work continues in mosaic knitting until the desired length and is finished with Icelandic bind-off.
