The Towards The Sea Tote is worked flat in a bobble stitch pattern, using the intarsia technique to create an abstract landscape motif.

The bag is worked from the top down, starting with a double-folded edge for a neat finish. The front and back are knitted separately and grafted together at the base. After closing the side seams, stitches are picked up out of the double folded edge to create double knitted straps, which are then sewn together at the top.
