This toy superhero costume crochet pattern is created to fit any of your chosen plushies, amigurumi or dolls.

While the crochet pattern is easy, you will need to do some measuring and some calculations that are clearly explained throughout the pattern in order for your superhero costume to fit your chosen toy. As such, depending on the size of your toy, the amount of yarn you require will also vary.

This is meant to be a quick project, that’s a bit of fun. I’ve created the costume for my amigurumi, Milo the Monkey, which you can see in the photos. More information about the pattern included below.

Materials needed

• Yarn: DK / Light Worsted yarn in two colours.
• Crochet hook: Size 3.5 mm (E)
• Other materials: Needle, Scissors, Pins, Stitch markers, Measuring tape, Soft toy/doll/amigurumi you are making the superhero costume for, Ribbon (optional)

• Level: Easy
• Language: English (US terms)
• Stitches used: Chain, Slip stitch, Single Crochet, Increase and Decrease
• Yarn: The yarn choice is completely up to you, and you can change the yarn weight, material, and colours based on your own personal preference. Just be aware that the weight of your yarn may impact the hook size you need to use and also the size of your final make.
