This knitted truck has a trailer on the back to store toys, or perhaps some candy and treats for cargo. For advanced beginner and intermediate knitters, the truck is knitted using short row shaping in garter stitch. The wheels are knitted separately and sewn on after making up.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the truck is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The crochet hook is used to work single crochet chains for the window struts.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/276m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, a 3.5mm crochet hook, and buttons to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - the truck is 10cm tall x 17cm long x 10cm wide.

TECHNIQUES
For intermediate knitters and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
