For this pattern I used:
YARN & AMOUNTS
Two 50g balls of Knoll Mohair Tweed DK.
I used shade 2640 Nathrach.
METRES/YARDAGE
140m/150yds.
NEEDLES
3.75mm double pointed needles.
TENSION/GAUGE
21 stitches and 40 rows to 10cm square over pattern using 3.75mm needles.
MEASUREMENTS
to fit average adult hand. Length from cuff to top is 21cm. This is when not stretched; it stretches to 27cm.
MY DESIGN IDEAS AND ADVICE
I named this pattern Tra because it is the Irish for beach and the ridges remind me of the ridges the sea makes on the beach as it laps the shore. The Mohair Tweed is a gorgeous yarn to knit with, it has colours that twinkle at you as you knit each stitch.
