Traces in clay Beanie
Have you seen the traces made by tires on clay, sand or snow? That inspired me to this hat pattern.
Depending on your cast on method, this beanie will be very stretchy. It is knitted in the round, from the bottom up in an easy to remember ribbing pattern. Once you reached the crown, you will work several decrease rounds.
It is up to you to choose to knit it longer to have a folded brim as this pretty beanie is reversible and can be worn on both sides.
It is suitable for an adventurous beginner. The instructions are written for a circular needle as well as for DPNs. For a better read, a part of the crown decreases are written per size. The decrease rounds are with stitch count.
It is written in 4 sizes, but it is easily adaptable.
Feel free to add a pompon on top of your beanie!
