The “Trachtentuch Isartal” shawl is worked top down.
It starts as a regular triangle shawl with a center cable pattern and increases along the centre as well as along the sides.

Materials:
The shawl requires approx. 400 gr (1320 yds/1200m) of sport weight yarn.

The sample shown uses as MC: 4 skeins of 2ply yarn by RAUWERK Yarn (Sport, 100% Merino, 3oo m/328 yds per 100 gr), colourway: obsidian as main colour and as CC: 1 skein in colourway: quarz

Circular needle size 3 mm (US 2 ½) circular needle, preferably exchangeable needles with two cords of 120 cm/47” length

22 sts x 44 rows = 10 cm/4“ in garter stitch (after blocking)

Finished size after blocking (wingspan x depth)
