’Tracy’ Vintage Style Ear Warmer / Head Wrap / Head Band (Teen / Ladies) (Chunky yarn) Knitting Pattern!

Knit this super gorgeous one-of-a-kind Chunky head wrap to keep your ears nice and cosy!

Unique features
This headband knitting pattern is very easy and simple to make with no complex cabling, and will knit up in to a lovely richly textured pattern! You can also knit this item without the flower if you prefer a plain headband. This item is easily adjustable to fit different head circumferences.

’Tracy’ headband is achieved by a simple knit and purl moss stitch! It is finished off with a stunning optional corsage that is knitted up separately.

Finished item sizes
Pattern is suitable for head sizes - Teen to Adult Ladies.
Finished item measures: 26.5cm length laid flat, and 9cm width.

Equipment needed
1 x 50g/120m balls – Patons Colour Works Aran. Shade 00083 Ultimate.
You may choose to knit this up in a thinner yarn such as DK if you want an even thinner/slimmer headband. Adjust the number of rows needed for the length as using DK yarn will result in a shorter length headband. Knit a tension swatch in the main pattern to calculate how many rows you will need.
6mm needles.
Round end small tapestry needle.

Knitting skills needed to complete ‘Tracy’ include
Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Purl, Slip a stitch.
