Trading Spaces
I am retiring from knit design due to progressive arthritis. Although I will no longer provide pattern support to my patterns that are now free, my patterns are edited and most have been test knit.
Trading Spaces is worked seamlessly in the round with a steek that is cut, unraveled and knotted, making a fringed scarf. The background of the Marlisle technique developed by Anna Maltz uses two yarns knitted or purled together for the “marl” sections, with the “isle” (from Fair Isle) sections made with standard stranded colorwork with unused yarn carried as a float on the wrong side.
