This is a written pattern for an applique that could be added to a blanket, hat, sweater or other numerous items! I’ve included progress pictures in this pattern to help clear up the many pieces that are involved.

In my example, I used mostly Caron Simply Soft yard (I think the brown was something else) and a G 4.25mm hook. Gauge is somewhat unimportant; just use the same hook and type of yarn for all the pieces to get then the same scale.

Finished applique is 3 1/2” from top of head to bottom of chin and 3 1/2” from ear to ear.
