PATTERN NOTES
This blanket is knit by creating individual squares of each stitch pattern that are then seamed together to create the full piece using a crochet flat slip stitch seam. A border is picked up and worked on each side of the blanket after seaming, and then the corners of the borders are joined with the crochet flat slip stitch seam method.
Please note that the Snowflake Squares are worked using stranded knitting on both right and wrong side rows. You will need to catch your floats along the back side of the work. We recommend catching your floats approximately every 5 stitches. Take care not to carry your unused yarn too tightly across the back of the work to prevent puckering in the fabric.
The Long Stitch Texture and Lacy Faux Cable patterns are both written and charted for your convenience. The Snowflake motif is in charted form only.
