I love to wear hand knitted socks, even in the summer, and wanted an ankle sock that wouldn’t slide down as I wore them. A nifty heel tab helps keep these socklets firmly anchored in my trainers. Featuring a boomerang heel, and worked from the top down without the need to pick up stitches, the finished socks are reversible. This sock looks great in solid, variegated and self-striping yarns.

Sizes included: 60, 64, 68, 72, 76 stitches

Yardage required depends on the size and foot length knitted. The sample socks used 41 g of yarn (190 yds / 175 m) and were knit in the 60 stitch size for US women’s size 7.
