The Traiblaze Socks are all colorwork socks inspired by the essence of adventure and determination. Inspired by my own experiences on winter runs, I created these socks to keep my feet toasty and lightweight, no matter how far I run.

Instructions are for magic loop, but you can use DPNs.

The heels are knitted in a reinforced stitch pattern and the round French heels give the socks a good fit. Gusset decreases are located on the sole. Toe is finished with grafting. All colorwork is charted.

Fingering weight sock yarns (approx. 425 m / 100 g).

The original socks are knitted from Nurja Merino Sock (75 % merino wool, 25 % polyamide, 425 m / 465 yds / 100 g), colorways Ruoste (rust) and Kalkiitti (grayish white).

Other budget-friendly yarn options: Filcolana Arwetta, Regia 4-ply, Lang Yarns Jawoll. Note if you use these you’ll need 2 balls of MC and 1 ball of CC.

Talvijuoksusta innostuksensa saaneet Trailblaze-kirjoneulesukat ovat kuin kuin muistutus omasta voimastasi ja rohkeudestasi. Sukkien lämpö ja keveys kantavat sinua läpi kylmien talvipäivien tai pitkien juoksulenkkien. Mikään matka ei ole liian pitkä.
