This will help the transition from fall to winter, or winter to spring for your active children.
Worked as a pullover with a placket opening on the front, this one has sleeves that are detachable so Mom can compromise when they want to go without a jacket!
Sized from 12 months up to 8 years for matching sweaters for siblings.
Sizes: 12m (18/24m,4, 6, 8)
Finished measurements: Chest approx 24 (24, 26, 28, 30) inches
Front length approx 13 (14.25, 15.5, 17.5, 19) inches
Yarn: Knit Picks City Tweed Heavy Worsted 55% Merino wool, 25% superfine alpaca, 20%
Donegal tweed; 164 yards/100 gram ball
MC: Chipmunk 3 (3, 3, 4, 5 ) skeins
CC: Toad 1 skein all sizes
Needles: US 7 and 9 24” circular, US 7 and 9 straights or dpn’s for working sleeves, or sizes
needed to obtain gauge
Gauge: 17.5 sts and 26 rows = 4” in diagonal seed st; 18 rows and 26 rows = 4” in fleck st
Skills needed: knitting in the round, simple intarsia color work
Supplies: yarn needle, 1-3 shank buttons for the vest, 10-14, 3/4” flat buttons for the sleeves
