Train to Varanasi
I have traveled to India many times. Every time I tried to get to Varanasi, because Varanasi is a place with a truly unique atmosphere. We usually got there by train from Delhi. That trip was already an experience. We knew many people, we talked with them, someone invited us home, with the usual Indian hospitality. Outside the windows the rails crossed green landscapes and very poor villages. Those trains were intersections of lives. The edge of this top is made of intersections, which for me are the symbol of new opportunities.
This camisole is knitted topdown. First you work the back to the armholes. Then you pick up the stitches from the shoulders and work the increases in the neckline. Finally the back and the front are joined to work in the round. The lace is worked on the bottom.
This garment has a very close fitting with a large amount of negative ease. In the schematic you can find the final measurement of the top, so you can choose to go up a size if you want it to be larger.
This pattern is been split in three different PDF: the first for sizes from XS to M, the second for sizes from L to 2XL and the third from size 3XL to 5XL. Size 5XL has not been tested. If you are interested in this size, please contact me with a message and I will send you a free copy.
