Trainhopper is a simple beanie inspired by my recent train adventures in Europe. This pattern was, for the most part, drafted on trains going from city to city.

Trainhopper is a versatile, unisex hat that lets the beauty of the yarn shine.

I love reverse stockinette, but who really wants to do all that purling?
The body of this hat is knit inside out to take advantage of the speed and ease of knitting stockinette.

Size is given for average adult 20-22”. The pattern can very easily be converted to fit any size head.

Gauge is calculated with US #5 needles (20 sts = 4”).
Depending on your yarn choice and tension, you may need to choose a different needle size to obtain gauge.
