Trainhopper Worsted
Trainhopper worsted is the sister pattern to my Trainhopper beanie. Knit with 2 strands of Wool and the Gang Sheepaca held together, this version of Trainhooper is squishy, warm and still just as versatile as the original one.
the Trainhopper beanie came about while I was traveling around Europe by train and wanted to create a hat that I could wear regardless of the weather, and if possible work with all my outfits. It has since claimed a permanent place in my wardrobe. I hope it serves you just as well.
Trainhopper worsted uses 2 strands of sport weight yarn held together for a squishy warm fabric. Alternatively, replace it with your favorite worsted weight yarn.
The simple pattern will show off the beauty of any yarn, from simple naturals to special handpainteds.
Construction takes advantage of inside out knitting, so you don’t actually have to purl all that reverse stockinette!
Size given is for average adult size: 20”-22”
Pattern can easily be adjusted to fit any size.
Gauge is calculated with the largest needle size (US #7)
Trainhopper’s versatile, unisex style makes it a perfect gifting knit too!
