Time for all creatures to have the proper attire for a training session!

This pattern contains only the add-on accessory Gi (short for “keikogi” training uniform for martial arts). Actually, it is only the jacket and the belt.

The versatile design makes this pattern suitable for ALL my crochet Toys so far: Bunny, Fox, Mouse, and Ferret. This is fortuitous, as the current attire available for each toy is customized to the design of that particular toy.

Just choose the appropriate hook for both the toy and the attire, and it should work! For instance, Senpai Ferret is made with a 4.00 mm hook, while novice Mouse is made with a 2.50 mm hook, but their Gi suits fit well following the same pattern.

Materials for this project include medium weight yarn (40 m; 44 yd), hook (4.00 mm), and tapestry needle for assembly & embroidery.

The 5-page pdf file details instructions for making the Gi + belt, with written instructions and charts containing crochet symbols. Among the stitches and techniques used here are: single crochet and double crochet with increases and decreases, invisible finish, work on right/wrong sides, and work in the back bumps of foundation chain.
