Traliccio Lace Scarf and Wrap
Skill level: Adventurous Beginner
Traliccio, Italian for trellis, is written in two sizes and two yarn weights. This borderless open mesh design that is a great solution for multi-colored hand-dyed yarns and textured yarns. Solid and tonal color yarns look good too. Any yarn weight can be used, adjusting the needle sizes accordingly. Sampled in fingering and worsted weight yarns. Blocking instructions included.
Finished size: Scarf: 9” x 75” blocked
Wrap: 20” x 75” blocked

Model Sample Yarn: Abstract Fiber Matisse, 420 yards, 100 grams, color Laurelhurst (multi colored)
Needle size: US. #6 (4.25 mm)
Gauge 20 sts = 4 inches
Stitch markers & Row counter (optional).
Wrap Details - blocked 20” x 75”
Yarn: Fingering weight, 900 yards or 810 meters.
Scarf Details - blocked 9” x 75”
Yarn: Fingering weight, 420 yards or 378 meters
WORSTED WEIGHT DETAILS
Yarn: Berroco Seduce, 100 yards, 40 grams (pewter color), used 3 hanks
Needle size: US. #9 (mm)
Gauge 12.5 sts = 4 inches in pattern stitch, unblocked
Stitch markers & Row counter (optional).
Wrap Details 20” x 75”
Yarn: Worsted Weight, 705 yards or 634 meters
Scarf Details 9” x 75
Yarn: Worsted weight, 300 yards or 290 meters
Note on Gauge: Gauge is not as important on pieces that do not require a fit; however swatching will help determine the needle size to get the desired fabric.
