“Tramonto Fiorentino (Sunset Over Florence)” is a top-down shawl.
The first section of the shawl if knit in garter stitch; towards the end of the section stripes in the contrasting color are added. From this point on, the knitting continues in the contrasting color and the addition of a sophisticated lace border followed by a striped border to complete the shawl.

Finished measurements:
190 cm – 74 ¾ inches along the longer edge and 48 cm – 18 ¾ inches along the center section (after blocking).

Yarn and needles:
BORGO DE’ PAZZI Lace (100% merino: 750 m – 820 yd / 100 gr – 3.50 oz. skein);
First color: Lavander; 1 skein (450 m – 493 yd);
Second color: Dark Red; 1 skein (450 m – 493 yd).
Circular needles:
3 mm – US 2 ½” with a 80 cm – 32 inches cable.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle and scissors.
Pins and a tape measure for blocking.

Gauge:
18 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm – 4” in garter stitch (after blocking).

“Tramonto Fiorentino” è uno scialle lavorato top down.
La prima sezione dello scialle è lavorata molto semplicemente a maglia legaccio e, verso la fine, sono inserite delle righe con un colore contrastante.
Poi si prosegue con il secondo colore e un bordo di pizzo molto raffinato e si conclude con un bordo a righe.

Misure finite:
190 cm lungo il lato più lungo e 48 cm lungo la parte centrale (dopo il bloccaggio).

Filato e aghi:
BORGO DE’ PAZZI Lace (100% merino: 750 m per gomitolo da 100 gr);
Prio colore: Lavanda; 1 gomitolo (450 m);
Secondo colore: Rosso Scuro; 1 gomitolo (450 m).
Aghi circolari:
numero 3 mm con il cavo lungo 80 cm.
Se necessario modificare il numero degli aghi per ottenere il campione corretto.
Altro:
Ago da lana e forbici.
Spilli e metro da sarta per il bloccaggio.

Campione:
18 m x 34 f = 10 cm lavorati a maglia legaccio (dopo il bloccaggio).
