This enchanting tunic is worked from the top down and the same on both sides with an easy-to-remember lace pattern. The little cap-sleeves are self-forming – there is no sleeve shaping!

Knit it as long or as short as you like – just make two equal balls of yarn first so you have the same amount for the front and back - then you can keep knitting until your yarn runs out. You’ll need more than one skein of sock yarn, so go wild with colour contrasts, or keep it all the same. Your choice. And it doesn’t really matter what size you make as it will look great close fitting or worn loosely!
