This piece is knit in Stockinette Stitch, with a cabled insert in the center bodice. The neck and armholes are knit with selvage edges. The neckline is finished with the application of I-cord. The Blanket stitch is used to combine the cabled panel to the upper and lower bodice.
The gauge of the center bodice panel is different from the main bodice stitch. Check your gauge in both!
Block your finished cable panel prior to finishing. You’ll have the best results this way.
The gassed cotton I’ve used does truly have a wonderful sheen.
