In thinking about the history of this beautiful fiber and the journey it has made to my hands, I was reminded of a similar journey relatives of mine took so long ago, resulting in my hands being in this place. These Transatlantic designs are my way of honoring that journey.

This pattern is suitable for the knitter with experience reading a chart and stranded colorwork.

Finished tam has a circumference of 21 inches at ribbing unstretched and is 8.5 inches tall. It is shown on a 22 inch head.

I used Blacker Yarns Gotland DK (100% Gotland Wool) (100g/240m) 1 100g skein each of Mist, Downpour and Shower.
