The Transitions Mosaic Blanket has a sophisticated combination of repeating geometric motifs, transforming and transitioning from one design to the next. This blanket pattern uses four different two-colour yarns to recreate the look of traditional mosaic knitting/crochet.

Like all Alize Puffy More designs, this pattern is repeated on the back side of the blanket in inverse colours.

Suggestions and tips for size and colour modification are included with this pattern template and instructions.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced/Experienced.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 8 balls of Alize Puffy More yarn (5.3oz, 150g) (Image shown uses 2 skeins each of colour 6270, 6264, 6271 and 6263).

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors. (Because the loops of this product are quite small, you may find it easier to use a crochet hook than your fingers. I use a US J10/6 mm hook).

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 38” x 40” (97 cm x 102 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: Alize Puffy More is a double-stranded yarn which is manufactured in a way to create double-sided colourwork patterns.

Currently, the only substitute for this yarn is Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Graph It yarn, a new product soon to be available in North America. This new yarn will come in larger skeins, so you will need approximately 15% fewer skeins to complete this project as-is.
