Transport Pullover is a raglan and buttoned yoke pullover, designed for babies from 6 months to little guys/gals of 2/3 years who are especially fond of cars, trains, planes and all other machines for transportation.

The pullover is partly knit on straight needles and partly on circular needles. Body is knit on straight needles (front & back together) as a rectangle until the underarm. The sides of the rectangle (to form the body) are then sewn to each other while keeping the stitches alive on holders. Live stitches of separately knit sleeves and body are then placed on circular needles to continue knitting the pullover as one piece until the yoke where it will end.

PS: Please consider that according to the feedback of my testknitters, the pullover turns out bigger than expected for the respective age. On my side it was intentional to knit the pullover bigger so that my son could wear it for two winters (you see in the photos as well that the arms were rolled up).
