Transpose Toque
Construction + Fit/Ease
The Transpose Toque is constructed from the top down with increases through the crown, cabling through the body, a 2x2 ribbed brim, and 2x2 colorwork through the crown and body. If you can knit 2x2 colorwork, and you can cable, then you can totally knit this hat!
Yarn Notes
I designed two versions of this toque, the first one using Spincycle Yarns Plump (bulky weight) that color shifts as you knit, paired with a solid De Rerum Natura Ulysse yarn (sport weight held double), and the second slouchy version using Hue + Me yarn (bulky weight) to give two fit options as well as to show the differences in using a color-shifting yarn versus two solid colored yarns.
