If you’ve never done stranded colorwork before, this hat makes a great introduction, with short floats and an easy-to-memorize pattern.

MATERIALS NEEDED
Yarn:
Malabrigo Yarn Rios (100% merino; 210yds/192m per 100g skein): 1 skein in Natural for Color A, 1 skein in Pocion for Color B

Important Yarn Substitution Note: This hat is worked at a tight gauge for worsted weight yarn. If substituting, a thinner worsted or DK weight yarn will probably give you the best results. Make sure to check your gauge in the colorwork pattern!

Recommended needles (make sure to check gauge and change sizes if needed):
US #5 [3.75 mm] circular needle, 16” long
US #6 [4.0 mm] circular needle, 16” long
US #6 [4.0 mm] double-pointed needles, set of 4 or 5
