Trapeze Net Scarf
A fast to knit and fluid scarf in “Trapeze Net”. It works beautifully for those who like a long scarf to pull through a loop around their neck,
“Trapeze Net” is about doing knitted pieces in a “fishnet”-type pattern, without a series of complex, time-consuming tap-dances to get there. It is all about speed, flow, and creating a larger piece with “holes” to eliminate the added weight. “Trapeze Net” is a lot like a trapeze act: swinging back and forth, sending a rope over, and joining two together - thus the name.
Finished size is about 9” x 72” on US 10 Needles.
A special “Thank You” to Babetta Gnos for turning me on to Berroco’s “Modern Cotton”, a yarn that suits this pattern perfectly. I used two skeins. It might also be interesting in linens and hemps…..who knows?
And always, thank you to my friends at Auburn Needleworks.
